Indian Reservations
The Havasupai Indian Reservation is located in a large tributary canyon on the south side of the Colorado River. The reservation is managed by the Havasupai Indian Tribe. The Navajo Indian Reservation is located east of the Grand Canyon National Park. Information and permits are allowed for camping and hiking along the east side of the Colorado River, Marble Canyon, Jackass Canyon, Salt Trail Canyon, Totahatso Point, Rainbow Bridge Trails, Cove Mesa, Coal Mine Canyon and other areas in the western area of the Navajo Nation.
